My name is Troy Poole, and I am a former staff member of the USC - Foundation for Cross-Connection Control & Hydraulic Research in Los Angeles, California, and am now the owner of Integrity Backflow Services.
The USC - Foundation is known as the home of the USC List of Approved Backflow Prevention Assemblies, the USC Backflow Prevention Assembly Field Test Procedures, and the USC Course for the Training of Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers. During my nearly 20 years of employment with the Foundation, I had the privilege to learn from and be trained by leading experts in the backflow prevention and cross-connection control industry. I started my career with the University in August 2000 and later relocated to Northern California in May 2020.
My goal is to apply the experience, education, and training I received at the University to support my family and make a positive impact on the industry. I hold certification as a CA-NV AWWA backflow prevention assembly tester, as well as a certification to serve as a tester certification exam proctor.
I am ready to provide testing and repair services for my neighbors in Butte County and the surrounding areas. While my contractor license is currently pending, I am fully certified and insured to provide the services offered.
The state of California mandates that every backflow prevention assembly must undergo testing and inspection on an annual basis. This important process is not only a regulatory requirement, but it is also the legal responsibility of the property owner to ensure it is completed each year in a timely manner. Fulfilling this obligation helps property owners maintain compliance with state regulations.
By ensuring that the necessary certification, testing, or inspection is performed, property owners take an active role in safeguarding our potable water systems. This commitment not only meets regulatory standards but also contributes to the protection of the community’s clean water supply.
Integrity Backflow Services is dedicated to assisting clients with the initial certification, the annual testing and inspection process, as well as repairs, when needed. We provide the necessary services to ensure property owners remain compliant and help protect the integrity of our water systems.
During the annual test and inspection process, it is not uncommon for the backflow prevention assembly to fail the initial test. When such a failure occurs, it is essential to conduct a thorough and accurate diagnosis to determine both the nature of the failure and its underlying cause. At Integrity Backflow Services, our expertise in diagnostics ensures that we can quickly identify issues and address them efficiently.
This approach allows us to deliver repair services that are both cost-effective and timely. We prioritize minimizing unnecessary expenses for our customers by avoiding the replacement of parts, unless they are absolutely required to complete the repair. Additionally, we strive to reduce any disruption to water service, ensuring it is restored as soon as possible following the completion of the necessary services provided.
While annual testing and inspection are required, the period between these yearly checks is just as important for keeping the assembly in optimal working condition. Integrity Backflow Services provides our clients with comprehensive year-round maintenance to address issues like leaks or damage as soon as they're noticed, ensuring quick, cost-effective solutions. Promptly resolving these matters helps prevent major repairs or replacements and supports continuous regulatory compliance.
If your backflow prevention assembly fails the initial test, Integrity Backflow Services offers a complimentary retest. To qualify for this free retest, both the initial failing test and the subsequent repair must be performed by Integrity Backflow Services. This ensures that once the necessary repairs are completed by our technician, your assembly will be retested at no additional charge.
Integrity Backflow Services delivers accurate and reliable test results, comprehensive inspections, and expert repairs, always maintaining the highest standard of integrity. Whether you need certification for a new device, annual testing and inspection, or repairs, our goal is to earn your trust and offer outstanding customer service, so you'll return to us every year.
