Providing backflow testing & repairs with integrity!
My name is Troy Poole, and I am a former staff member of the USC - Foundation for Cross-Connection Control & Hydraulic Research in Los Angeles, California. The USC - Foundation is the home of the USC List of Approved Backflow Prevention Assemblies the USC Backflow Prevention Assembly Field Test Procedures, and the USC Course for the Training of Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers. Having had nearly 20 years of employment with the Foundation, I was afforded the opportunity to learn from and be trained by the people who are considered, by many, as the top minds of the backflow prevention and cross-connection control industry. I began my employment with the University in August of 2000 and relocated to Northern California in May of 2020. My goal is to take the experience, the education, and the training I received, while being employed by the University, and put it to work to support my family, as well as to be a positive influence, a help, and support to the backflow prevention industry in the area in which I now live. I am an AWWA certified backflow prevention assembly tester, and I am ready to provide testing & repair services for my new neighbors in Butte County and other surrounding areas.
1. Certification, Testing & Inspection -- The certification, testing or inspection of a backflow prevention assembly is required by the state of California to be performed annually and is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that it gets done in a timely manner. In doing so, it not only brings the property owner in compliance with state regulations, but it also allows them to play a part in protecting our potable water systems. Poole's Integrity Backflow (PIB) is dedicated to providing this service to our clients
2. Diagnostics -- During the annual test and inspection described above, there are times when the backflow prevention assembly being tested fails the initial test. When that happens, it is crucial to accurately diagnose the failure, as well as the cause for the failure. At Poole's Integrity Backflow we are experts in both of these areas, and this allows us to provide the customer with one of the most cost-effective and expedient repair services possible. In other words, our goal is to ensure that our customers are not paying for parts they don't need, and their water service isn't disrupted any longer than necessary to perform the required testing and inspection.
3. Maintenance -- Between the annual test and inspection of a backflow prevention assembly, it is important to keep it maintained. Poole's Integrity Backflow provides ongoing maintenance during the time between annual test to ensure your backflow prevention assembly is working properly throughout the year. Keeping it maintained can extend the life of the backflow prevention assembly and can help the customer avoid the costly installation of a new assembly.
4. Free Retests -- Should your backflow prevention assembly fail the initial test and require repair, as long as Poole's Integrity Backflow performed the initial test and repair, the retest of the assembly is on us. Yes, the retest is free!
Whether you are due for your annual backflow inspection, having issues with or relocating an existing backflow preventer, or are installing or having a new backflow preventer installed, you can rely on Poole's Integrity Backflow to provide you with initial certification, annual testing & inspection, and our expert diagnostic and repair services with accuracy and integrity!
